1956: Our neighborhood’s namesake emerged with the start of Madison High School, which opened in 1956.
1983: Portland Neighborhood Associations were becoming more official. Madison North and Madison South were named for the residential areas north and south of Madison High School.
1990: “Madison North” changes to “Roseway” neighborhood.
2021: Madison High School changes name to McDaniel High School
